I Tried an AliExpress Figure.. and Liked It!

My (first) experience with AliExpress

Introduction

While doom-scrolling AliExpress (yes, really.), I stumbled upon a gem: a Arona (Blue Archive) figure. For just 2.52€, I thought, “What could possibly go wrong?” Honestly, I was unsure what to expect at such a low price. Spoiler: I ended up pleasantly surprised!

Unboxing Experience

Anticipation bubbled as I received my package. The moment I opened it, I was greeted by a sea of bubble wrap. While I might have been expecting a more elaborate presentation, the simplicity was refreshing. The Blue Archive Arona figure was securely nestled within, ensuring it arrived in perfect condition. Unpacking it was satisfying—there’s something about peeling away bubble wrap that brings a childlike joy!

First Impressions

As I pulled the figure free from its bubble cocoon, I was struck by the details. The PVC material felt surprisingly sturdy, and the paint job was clean and vibrant. At first glance, it looked significantly more expensive than what I had paid for it. And yet, I didn’t find a SINGLE mistake, it was just.. good.

Quality Check

After scrutinizing every angle, I found the sculpt to be quite charming. The character’s expressions and features were well-captured, making it a delightful addition to my collection. While I didn’t expect much from a figure priced at 2.52€, the quality exceeded my initial skepticism.

Displaying Arona

Once I gave her a home on my shelf, she instantly brightened up the space. The Arona figure perfectly represents her character, and I couldn’t be happier with how she looks among my other collectibles.

Conclusion

Ultimately, my experience with the figure from AliExpress proved that sometimes, the best surprises come in unexpected packages. For anyone considering a budget-friendly figure, I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a shot. You just might find a treasure like I did!
